Nicola Taylor (b.1984) is a visual artist from South Africa. Her artwork investigates belonging and connection by exploring natural laws and matter taking form. Using paint, animation, light installations and sculpture, she considers the human experience from a structural perspective, looking at unity and identity at a level where manifestation is still physically undecided. She is a mother of three young children and this experience informs her work. She currently lives and works in the Byron Bay Hinterland.

Nicola studied in the UK, Italy and South Africa from 2003- 2009, she has presented five solo exhibitions since 2010, taken part in group shows and collaborations, attended residencies in South Africa and abroad and her work is part of private and public collections globally.
